State Laws

Gambling in the United States is a wagering activity offered by the gaming industry.  Gambling is legal under US federal law, and each state is free to regulate or prohibit it.  If state-run lotteries are included, almost every state can be said to allow some form of gambling.  However, casino-style gambling is much less widespread.

The law relating to gambling varies from state to state.  The law relating to gambling for the various states in the U.S. can be found under the following link.
